My dearest Friends,

First of all -  Danie and I became Grandparents!!!!  A little boy – Noah was born on the 27th Dec.  Hano and Lorraine are the proud and blessed new parents and we know that the favour of God is upon them and their young son.   They live in Scotland – but we have the privilege to see the pictures. Hanel my daughter and I sang at The Bay Christian Church- on Christmas Eve.   We enjoyed a great celebration with our family at The Bay.   Pastor Allan Bag had an inspiring message.  We  were made aware of the tremendous blessing we received by the fact that Jesus came to this earth to be our Counsellor, Mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace – He is called - Wonderful.    We were all encouraged to really put Christ back into Christmas as the word “Christmas” means – Christ (the anointed One) and “Mass’” means –celebration. Therefore it means that we are celebrating the Anointed One and His Anointing!

Our God is Love (1 John 4:16) and in John 3:16 – LOVE so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. When we did not know Him we were condemned (John 3:18) Once we received Him as our Lord and Saviour, we are saved.

This in itself – is the blessing of Christmas!!!!!!

Let us continue to take this message with us into the New Year of 2009!  The fact that He says in 2 Tim.2: 19 “Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription:  The Lord knows those who are His” and “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness. (As wrongdoings will shut the blessings flowing in our lives.)

You are blessed – to be a blessing!!!!  The world out there – is in need of your touch –your love – your understanding and your care.  Let us be His love in this world- in 2009!!!
