Hi my friends,
I am still in Somerset West - a beautiful place near Cape Town.
We have an exquisite view from our home - it overlooks False Bay,
Cape Point and scenic mountain and vineyard views. It is winter
and cold - with some gale force winds blowing that I sometimes wonder
if our house will be able to take all this. We are not sure when
we will be going back to Zimbabwe. My husband Danie needs to be
up there in July - there are possibilities of getting into business
there. He is also looking for options down here in the Cape. I take
it that all of you reading this are informed regarding our situation
as a family. That we have lost all our property - with the land
issue under the Mugabe government - where land has been taken from
most farmers - and no compensation paid out to them. We thank God
that we had the house down here in South Africa - otherwise we would
have been stranded.
I have just come back from Port Elizabeth where I addressed the
wives of the men who attended the conference of their annual South
African Wool growers Association. It was great fun. I however was
very ill with flue up till the day I had to fly up there. I managed
to go through with it. The Wednesday night I attended a very posh
function and learned much more about their whereabouts. The next
day I addressed the ladies at a beach front Restaurant. What a bunch
of great ladies. They really were dressed so tastefully and their
response towards me was so warm. I felt so much better after that
- it shows you that when you are in a positive environment - your
health improves!
I am having a quiet period - regarding singing and speaking engagements
- because of wrong addresses that has been on my web-site. I once
again apologize for that.

Him, we look away form ourselves for whatever it is that we need
to accomplish, for whatever we need to go through. We look to Christ
for our joy. We look to Him for our Peace. Our hope is in Him. There
is no need for much reasoning or trying to figure out how or when
our problems will be solved because everything we need is - IN HIM.
