Hi friends,

I'm sure you can't keep up with me. Then I'm in South Africa then in Zimbabwe. Sometimes I find myself waking up and not knowing in which country I am... But like Abraham - God kept telling him - do not worry - "I'm with you" It is this kind of assurance and continual experiences of His protection that I understand how Abraham could go out, not knowing where he was going and headed next, to live the life of a nomad. Like him I know that my home is wherever God is. Like my friend Betsy says: God wants us to be "at home" in His love.

I had a good and blessed time in South Africa ministering in the Cape area. Did many radio interviews and different magazines did articles on what God is doing in our lives. Those articles will be out in the country during the following months of Oct. Nov and Dec. It will be in CHRISTIAN TODAY MAGAZINE, FINNESSE, AND LEEF - I think the last one is a sister magazine of SARIE- the ever popular magazine for women. I also had the privilege to address a beautiful group of people - called Women of Destiny - They are part of a Christian Political Party in the country. It was an honour for me to be able to sing and speak there and also to have met some of the politicians and leaders in government.

I also need to mention that while I was there - we do not have a vehicle in South Africa and a wonderful Christian business man provided me with a car to enable me to get to the different ministering venues. Who will dare say that our God is not Jahwe Jireh - my Provider!!!! Don't you know how much that man and his business will be mightily blessed by our God? "Give and it shall be given -
A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, shall man give unto you" Luke 6:38 May we all learn the beautiful lesson of GIVING - I can never out give God! Whether it is love that I give - or time or money or joy or comfort or hospitality - it is not always about money.

While in the Cape - we had worship sessions on Thursday afternoons. We did not advertise it - we just dropped it here and there. God sent the most wonderful musicians to the house and some strong worshippers to join us. It was so beautiful - I do not want to use any other word. His presence was - I just did not want it to leave or stop. We were just a handful - no one was the leader - no one came with his or her own agenda - it just flowed. Like Hanel my daughter phrased it - it is like an Oasis! We want more of that Jesus! And as I write this - I know that it depends on us to have it as often as we want it - but our lives and schedules are so full. Nothing can compare to those moments in His presence. No drug or religion can bring that experience. I'm sorry for the wasted time in my own life - for not giving our Lord Jesus more of my time. I have given energy - but what He wanted was for me just to be silent some times and listen to His guidance, advice and His expressions of love towards me. Thank you - friends - for worshipping with me while I was down there - please continue in my absence - feel free to use the house and the blue room to worship our King!

I will be here in Zimbabwe until the end of Sept. Beginning Oct. I have to be in Cape Town for the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be just before the big Feast that is always celebrated in Jerusalem that time of the year during "Sukkot"
After that I have to be in the Free State ministering at a Dutch Reform community. Then follows a ladies retreat -I'm sure men will be welcome also - in the Strand - Somerset West area. Leana Lourens is coordinating that event and could be contacted at 27- 021-8532167.

I was invited to go to Rwanda in November - I trust that we will be able to make arrangements next time in the future - for me to go there. Especially after I have seen the movie "Hotel Rwanda". If God still wants me to go there this year - and the finances are provided to get me there - I will go. Thank you for praying with me regarding this matter. Some of you know my song "I don't want to go somewhere - If I know that You're not there!" But if the Lord says go- I'll go anywhere. Because He is the Lord of the Harvest and wherever He may lead me - I will go - because there is so little time for reaping - and the laborers are few. Lift your heads to the fields of white - there is work that we must do!

My dear husband is still looking for the right thing to do - remember he is the head of the house and as a man is the provider for his family. He has done that for so many years and after being kicked off all our land - without any compensation - he still finds it hard to get his mind off farming and onto something else. God knows the exact place for him - thank you all for praying for Danie in this regard. Back in the country we realized how things are just deteriorating - people are even more despondent - people who would so much love to stay on in this country. You hardly see vehicles on the road- as there is no fuel!!! How can they farm? It seems as if the government at the top - just does not care - as long as they have what they want.

Our children are all well and we praise God for them. We are so close and really and truly enjoy each other. I don't know whether they enjoy me - but I surely enjoy them!!!! Ha-ha.!

May our God reign in your lives - He is the only secure thing in this whole wide world.

Love in Christ Jesus our Messiah. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem - Pray for Israel - do not forget that. Shalom - His peace I pray over you and yours.
